Each coach will designate a charitable organization that will receive a grant from the Fisher DeBerry Foundation Fisher DeBerry Foundation Sponsored by Fisher DeBerry The Fisher DeBerry Foundation is a tax exempt, nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and education of single parents and their children, as well as other charitable causes. Founded by legendary and all-time winningest United States Air Force Academy head football coach Fisher DeBerry and his wife Lu Ann, the Fisher DeBerry Foundation provides support for parenting development, mentoring programs, after school activities and funding for academic scholarships. The Home Front Military Network Sponsored by Troy Calhoun HFMN helps service members, veterans and their families navigate support systems through web-based and call-in information and assistance to find the services that are the best fit and follows alongside these individuals every step of the way. Our mission is to connect military service members, veterans and their families to resources offered by our trusted community partners and to provide emergency financial assistance. The Arc of Weld County Sponsored by Ed Lamb The Arc of Weld County (The AWC) promotes and protects the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through empowerment, advocacy and community outreach. We provide no-fee individual advocacy services, community outreach programs such as events, education and training, and systems advocacy to Weld County as well as the following Northeastern Counties: Morgan, Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips, Washington and Yuma. Orlie's Shoe Drive Sponsored by Philip Vigil Founded in 2018 by Nicole Vigil and Alex Vigil, Orlie's Shoe Drive is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing free shoes to school-aged children of destitute families in Kern County communities. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation: Rocky Mountain Chapter Sponsored by Jay Norvell The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care. Fueled by a dedicated group of scientists, caregivers, donors, volunteers, and people with CF and their families who are united by a common goal: to find a cure for this devastating disease and help those with CF live longer healthier lives.
